The price of the watch is far too low...and you can even make an offer!

come on guys, it's SS with either an aftermarket dial and bezel or someone was able to source the blue Rolex stuff, bt in either case it's not a true WG Sub......
Plus, no way you can use the Rolex warranty they are touting, either.... |

I understand it's modified, but he cleary states this, he also states the warranty is via his business. I see nothing wrong with the listing therefore. Do you believe the insert to be aftermarket as he has not clearly stated if it's original ?

Heck, I'm not sure the bezel insert and dial are legit.....
Doesn't anyone find the 6:20 time as curious....it covers a LOT of the script... |

its a frankenstein watch, that seller is known for what he calls "CUSTOM" frankensteining....I would steer clear of this thing, the ceramic bezel isn't even genuine, the pearl is awful.

This is also on another thread but I still think the dial and bezel are.
I would ask to see the Rolex receipt for that dial and bezel. Whatever the answer I have a picture of his twin brother:-

Frankenwatch, seller states it as such in so many words. Despite the somewhat clear disclosure, I wouldn't touch it.

I am not saying I would buy it as I don't like mods, but it's not worse than the hundreds of datejusts and daydates with aftermarket dials and bezels on eBay at any onetime IMHO. We generally don't report them as total fakes and get them cancelled by ebay is all I was saying earlier.

I agree with Directioneng, the dial is a bit fuzzy, and the price is way too low for a 18k white gold ceremic sub. Also if you look closely, at the first pic at the 6 o'clock position, you can see the etched crown, which usually never shows up in pics unless you get the watch and light just at the right angle and you're doing it on purpose to try and capture it. Also the etched crown looks too big.
Also another red flag is the description that says "LOOKS JUST LIKE THE 18K WHITE GOLD 116619 SUBMARINER", why does it "look like" should it "be" a 18k white gold Sub? I could be wrong but IMHO this watch seems really fishy. |

It's a 116610LN to start with, he then added a crappy dial and aftermarket bezel. All other parts in the watch from Rolex. It's just kinda douchy to take an $8500 watch and add sh*tty kmart parts into it. Least he could have done was get an authentic blue dial and a authentic bezel.
