Any 40mm Love Around Here?
I know the 40mm Pannys aren't loved by everyone, but this one suits my smaller wrist just fine.
Overall a superb piece! Cheers, -Marc ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Whatever floats a blokes boat.
As said previously, you have a small wrist and the wrist shot screams out that the piece looks good on you. Nice one. I have a 42 Radiomir, not so different size wise. |

Looks great Marc
![]() I find the 40mm models to be very good-looking ...often more so than their larger equivalents (for example the PAM 48 vs 104, and PAM 244 vs 88)

Looks good. I wore a 40mm PAM48 for ten years before finally moving on to a 44mm luminor. They are both nice, but the 40mm was more of a daily wearer.

Nice 40s! If I can do it over I would've bought the 40mm GMT rather than my Pam 88.

I have a smaller wrist, so would also go with 40mm due to better fit. I have manufacturers will keep offering this size forever ...

My wrist is about 6-3/4", I can wear 44mm no problem, biggest I care to go is 45mm.

I've got a 244 and love it. Even though my wrist is 7 inches, the 44mms feel too big on me. All my watches are between 40mm and 42mm, 244 is right in the mix in terms of overall size.

I love my Pam 48.... Its a great watch. Anybody know if the Assolutamente Strap is made in 22mm for the 40mm Panerais? Thanks...

If I had to go to Panerai it would probably be for one of those 40 mm models, I think yours suits you very well!

Very nice watch, but the 40mm models don't go well with me, I have small wrists and the 40's look incredibly high, where as the 44's and even a 47 look more balanced, but if it sits good on your wrists that's great

for those with this model...is the lack of an hour counter something you were able to deal with?
also, I see that production stopped in 2011. does that mean if you find at an AD, you can get a discount? or are they hesitant knowing that the production run wasn't that large to begin with? thanks. |

The Luminor lugs are pretty short and I like my 121 but could pull off a 44mm as well. My wrist is 6.5"

best looking watch I own is the 282. Titanium case with blue dial. LOVE the size. It is by no means a small watch ( except to some on this forum )

I think the Panerai 40mm wears a bit big which is absolutely perfect.

Looks great on you. I owned a 40mm when I was wearing bigger watches and eventually sold it but now 40 or 42 is the only way I would go.
