The year 1959.....

Last night I was holding my vintage Seamaster chrono in my hands...

Couldn't help wondering how many owners she had before I got my hands on this beauty.

The year she was born Gunsmoke was one of the most popular television shows

The year she was born Elvis sang "A Big Hunk O' Love".

The year she was born my dad was 18 years old...

There is something about a vintage timepiece like this.
Every time I hold one in my hands my mind takes me back......decades back..

I think it's safe to say that vintage timepieces have some kind of ''soul''.

Man, I sure love this little chrono..

1959, the year my Seamaster Chrono was born...

Very nice Omege!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!! Yes, I agree there is something special about vintage watches or modern vintage looking watches. Brings back a time when wathes were not just a fad or fashion, but a needed peice of gear. Back to the day when it was not about how big your watch was and the day when real adventure and exploration was still in the air

Very nice Omega. It's impressive to me how well those Omega watches hold up--thanks for the photo.

A stunning piece of history Gerard. Vintage does indeed speak to a much different era and philosophy than today.
May they live forever!!!

Beautiful watch. Looks in better shape than me since we're both from 1959.
