Vintage Rolex -DATE- Pic
Hey All -
Here's a look at my grandfather's Rolex which I recently inherited. Unfortunately, it doesn't work and could probably use a refurbishing. Any idea of the cost of a complete overhaul by RSC as opposed to an independent jeweler (who specializes in Rolex of course)? It needs a complete polish, new crystal, replacement of corroded second hand, and miscellaneous items maybe. Any idea of its value in working condition? And NO, I do not plan on selling it LOL for those who may be thinking that. I'll wear it proudly! Thanks for any help! Nick |

The value if in working condition is $1200-1500. An independent watchmaker would be the best bet. The estimated service cost will be $350-500

Do not and I repeat do not send it to a rsc!!! They will replace the dial, bracelet, and hands. The watch will come back looking brand new but the only original part will be the movement! Send it to bob Ridley. He's is the best of the best.
