A GREAT monday morning for me!!!!!!!!!

So I woke up to a phone call from my friendly local AD

So I asked what it is, he told me that it's not my SS Daytona since he knows I am not ready for it till Feb (after I pay holiday bills )

He told me that he has something for me that I have been wanting, not watch related and also that the watchmaker has something special lined up for me.

So of course I rush out to them at my earliest convenience

hmmmm so whats in the bag?

Mont Blanc boxes are always nice
But whats in that little paper envelope?

Yay! something to accessorize my GMT2 with
Unfortunately you cannot order them from Rolex Canada, good thing the team of great watchmakers have their connections around the world!!!!

But what about the Mont Blanc box you ask?

Something to accessorize the SD with of course The Starwalker Grid Rollerball!

Its a beautiful cloudy and rainy day here today

I like this fineliner/rollerball because of its screw down cap, when you un cap the pen you can screw the cap into the other end

I am gonna keep the red/blk on for now. If we go on vacation in Jan or Feb I might slap on the blk one to be a little low key. But I was thinking of going pepsi for xmas time, bright and colourful is the christmas way

I used MBs for a while, but kept breaking them. Even the starwalker-thought "great, this is steel and rubber, the perfect pen for me." It turned out the barrel down the middle was-plastic. I dropped it and it snapped. Grrrr. Beautiful pen, though, and it got more comments than any I've ever used. I've switched over now to an Aurora tuxedo, seems to be holding up nicely, and I keep the MB in my drawer to look at every so often. Enjoy the bezels!

MBs are kinda OK, but the problem I found was that the reed wasn't all that great - the ink only flowed after the nib had travelled about half a centimetre. I find Watermans a lot easier to write with.

Waterman's ROCK! Honestly I have MBs for signing stuff, there is something to be said about someone that pulls out a bling pen to sign contracts. My watch is hidden under my cuffs (as I prefer it that way) but the pen and the way you dress is important imo
