24mm strap in a 23mm watch?

Hello!

In few hours I'll get my JLC Navy Seals Chrono GMT. I would like to use an Isofrane 24mm strap with it, do you think is it possible? cause the watch have 23mm between the lugs

Best regards

Yes, I used to put an Isofrane 24mm strap on my Fifty Fathoms which had 23mm lugs.

I don't have an Isofrane strap, so take this with a grain of salt. I would think if you can't actually fit the strap between the 23mm lugs, you will be able to shave/sand a tiny bit of material off the 24mm strap and get a nice fit. Better to make a 24mm fit than use a 22mm, IMO.

Well, some people said that you can put the stamp in a hot water and press a little bit till you get the 23mm in the 24mm strap :)

Regards

The hot water thing makes sense. I've used other straps and forced them to fit one mm smaller with almost not effort. If the Isofrane came with its' own springbars, the 24mm springbars may be a bigger problem than the strap.

I think will be no problem, I will let you know. I hope I'll get the rubber soon.

Best regards

No need to shave anything. Can't see the squeeze with an ISO.

I'm surprised your NS MC is 23mm.

I thought they'd use the same case for most of their MC lines.

My MC DC is 22mm lug to lug

I also use a 22mm ISO for my Deepsea, which measures 21mm. No issues at all. Just one other thing good about an ISO strap.

Show pics soon, pls.!

Sure!!! I will make photos when the strap arrives.

I'll order it on Monday, so at least 7-10days.

Cheers
