Wanted to gauge potential interest in a GTG in Philly Jersey Area.

Saw that there were a few older posts but doesnt look anything came out of it. Would be cool to meet up with a bunch of fellow watch nuts. Could meet at a bar/restaurant, cigar lounge, billiards lounge etc.

Figure maybe something in August or September.

My August and September are usually really busy with traveling, but if the gtg date works I'll be there for sure.

Ha the nato on the GMT II is one of my favs. Lets see if we can get a decent raise of hands and move forward with a date etc. Would a night during the weekend or weekday be better? I would think a weeknight would be best as to interfere less w schedules etc.

August 1st. La Buca restaurant (between 8th & 7th on Locust). Start at 7pm. Stay until whenever you want. If enough people come they have a back room we can use.

I am open to any other suggestions of place, date & time.

I'm tentativly in. I'm starting a new job in NYC on July 23rd, so most Mon-Thurs will be harder, but I will try. Probably closer to 8-8:30 for me.

Sounds good to me I work near Princeton, NJ so a drive over to Philly is close on Thursday.

Friday/Saturday/Sunday GTGs work.

August is already very busy, but we will see what we will see.

September works, except for the first weekend because of a Bucco's ball game.

OH, Philly area for less travel distance from The Burgh, if at all possible.

Would love to join in but summers are mostly at the seashore. I'll monitor for when the date is set in stone...and hope to make it there .....would hate to miss it!!!

They will provide us a separate room. Come anytime and stay as long as you wish. Eat & Drink or don't, it's up to you. Each person will be responsible for their own bill.
