Date change on GMT II

Hi everyone. I recently bought a D serial GMT II. In the first week of owning it I noticed that the date was changing at almost exactly 20 seconds past midnight. Tonigh I noticed that it changed at 12:01:45. Is that normal for it to change at different times? Does anything have an affect on the change, such as how often its worn or winding it?

Thanks in advance for the info and responses.

Ahh, NOW I see where the concern comes from. Relax--You're in the world of mechanical movements now, where slight variances here and there are perfectly normal. That GMT-II is performing perfectly, no worries.
