50s Oyster Royal???
Rather like this eBay lot. Not seen many 50s Royals around.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-19...item4168486b9e Can anyone see any problems with it that I haven't noticed & what do you think would be a sensible limit for my bid? Thanks in advance! |

Hmm..the lugs look a bit polished and there's a dedication on the back. better ones do come up if you look out for them and personally, I would. £300 absolute max!

Looks like it'll be going for more than that, so maybe one to pass on then. Dedications really don't bother me in the least though. Frankly, I like that they put some bidders off!

Any idea of the correct Rolex terminology for that specific type of markings at 3,6 & 9? It's those I love & haven't seen on other Royals.

Embossed dagger markers, perhaps?

Sounds good Adam.
Searching around I'm struggling to find those particular 3, 6, 9 markers elsewhere. |
