Missing the Deepsea...

Bad!
It's been about a year and a half since I let mine go.
I think I had convinced myself it was too thick even though I loved wearing it.
Now, I gravitate towards bigger watches for everyday wear (45.5mm PO, 46mm IWC etc) and miss that chunky sporty feel of te Deepsea on my wrist. Very comfortable.
It didn't help that I went to my AD yesterday and spent a good 30 + minutes playing with one.
Here's a pic of the one that got away...

lost count of how many people have sold and regretted it! ... AD where i buy watches commented on this very same watch last time i was in, ... seems people now look at the deepsea as the "right" size watch for the future

just my opinion so take it or leave it

I tried very hard to enjoy the DSSD and will say w/o a doubt it is a super watch. I have purchased and sold one 3 times. As hard as I tried I just could not get over the size of the watch. I had a time when 44mm was the norm but have now grown to enjoy the size of the SUB C. Has anyone other than me purchased and sold the DSSD more than once?

It's never lost truly lost because you can get it back. The prices on the secondary market are also pretty attractive if you don't feel like you need to buy from an AD. Look forward to your reunion. ;-)

I disagree. I think watches sometimes look bigger in these wrist shots than they do in real life. Anyway, I thought it looked great on you. You know what you need to do!

This is the kind of thread I don't ever want to write. I keep my DSSD on rotation because I easily miss it after a day or so of not wearing it. During this summer it is on Isofrane and in the winter will be on a variety of Ted Su leather. Am just not too fond of the steel bracelet though.

I think you ought to scratch that itch and pick up a DeepSea soonest!

it seems like of all the watches that people let go, it's the DSSD that people regret flipping the most. please, DSSD owners, once you go DSSD, don't ever let it go!
