See My $46 Rolex Watch Winder
I have it set to run one hour and turn off for three hours. Is that about right? Which way should it be turning?

Where did you get it? Looks good for $46. I want one that plugs in. I can keep it in my fireproof safe. There is a plug in there.
Ah, Google is my friend. Found it. http://www.garinin.com/Double-Automa...-Ic-Timer.html |

I don't think it matters which way it turns. I have mine set to turn both ways.

Set it to turn both CW and CCW
Good thing you set those pauses, or else you are wearing down the parts too quickly

Clockwise above the equator, counterclockwise below the equator.
Using it on the equator or the poles voids warranty. Reverse the rotation direction if you power the unit with DC instead of AC. |

Me too.
Give it a couple of weeks. The watches will start rattling around pretty good. It has tiny plastic tabs holding the watch in and they wear down very quickly. Haven't figured out how to tighten it up. Think I'll spend a little more next time. |
