No Lume!!! I wear it mostly 24/7 lack of lume is annoying!!!
BUT THE DIAL!!!! truely unique! if you've seen one in real you'll know what i mean It has a brillliance and fire like diamonds when the light plays off it!

This is a hard one, but if I had to narrow it down to one "love" point, it would be the clasp of my new GMTIIC.

This is easy; I dislike the wide lugs of the same watch.

Worst point....the clasp is a bit fiddly to open when you are wearing it.

I'm not super happy with the lume, particularly on the minute hand. It just doesn't hold up as long as it should. I think I'd also like a slightly domed crystal like the Omega Seamaster. Neither of these are really huge problems, though.

I love everything else about it.

I love the way the light plays off the MOP dial. I love the way the diamond markers flicker in low light conditions.

I hate that I'm always worried I'll scratch it.

I like everything about it, except one strange problem. For some reason underneath my thumb on my wrist, my sub leaves black marks. More often if I sweat. Washing the band lessens the problem, but it is back after a day or two. Since there is no sign of anything wrong with the links, my only guess is that it traps crud (perhaps in the hollow link), which it then redeposits on this one place because my wrist rubs it just right there. That and the occasional red dot on my hand from the crown.

I used to wear a Seiko 24/7 that would leave black crud on my wrist. It was a combo of sweat, dead skin, soap scum, body oil and who knows what else. Do you shower with the watch? You should get in there with a toothbrush.

I love the yellow gold and stainless contrast of my TT YM.

Having had a GMT, I miss being able to see the date quickly...can be too much reflection and shine from the dial on my TT YM.

I love the lack of cyclops on my SD.
I hate the severe lack of lume which is very disapointing considering the amount you pay for these watches.

It can go down to 4000 feet, ok thats great, but no use to me. But I can't bloody see it in the middle of the night in my own bedroom.

Occasionally, yes, and then it IS annoying to have to unscrew those button. Actually, I even feel I have to take off the watch to get to unscrew them.

Due to the nature of my work, I sometimes time things.

Well, having worn them for almost four decades, I'll echo Rolex's lack of lume compared to other brands. Even in the tritium days the lume wasn't that great (though I have to say the maxi-dial on the newer offerings helps a bit).

I'm also one of those guys that is glad to see the larger indices of the maxi as compared to the small WG surround dials. Brings them back a bit to the painted markers of the matt dial days.

What I like best is what I've always admired about Rolex--a tough "bring it on watch" that can withstand about anything a watch used in extremes should be expected to handle.

I know I already answered this question, but I want to amend. The red mark goes away and the black marks I just ignore. BUT there is one thing I HATE about my Rolex, and that is the fact that because it is so recognizable I can't wear it everywhere. The fact that we have to have posts that start "should I wear my Rolex on vacation to....." is a classic example. The risk of theft makes me have to at least think about where I am going, and I really HATE that........
If it was not for the risk of theft there would be almost no place or time that my watch would not be on my wrist......

If it was not for the risk of theft there would be almost no place or time that my watch would not be on my wrist......

The theft thing is a negative issue for me as well, for which I only really felt while walking around in Boston yesterday and today. Even though the areas we're walking are "safe", it's constantly on my mind. Not only for my watch, but for my girl's $25,000 worth of jewelery that she wears. I'm always scanning my suroundings for "undesiderables" and am always prepared to defend.

I guess it goes with the territory.

On the TT Blue Sub, I love the way the dial catches the light and appears to change color based on the angle and intensity of light. I don't like the extreme glare on the cyclops. I have a Tudor Chrono and its cyclops doesn't seem to have the same problem. Also, I strongly dislike the safety catch on the clasp. It feels cheap and fiddly even though the watch is brand new. The newer GMT has a superior latching mechanism.
