Help..

Can anyone explain what is a 2 line and 4 line dial on a sub? Thanks!

I believe the 4-line is the COSC certified on a Submariner ("non-date"). Mine is older and has only two lines (not COSC). Either way mine keeps pretty good time and 2 line or 4 line its still a great watch. I'm sure someone far more knowlegable will add/correct my guess..

Quite simple the one has not superlative chronometer on the dial but exactly the same movement as the two line.The non date sub was not COSC tested until a few years back so in reality its just a few extra fonts on the dial to say the movement has been tested.But don't read to much into the tested ones as its exactly the same movement to those that were not tested.
