GMT Master II versus Sub -- which/why?

I've been waiting for the new Sub ND (with cerachrom bezel) to become available, and in the meantime my brother got the earlier model.

Not sure I want to be wearing the almost-twin watch to his, and I also like the GMT Master II. I travel frequently -- not a diver -- so maybe it makes more sense. I don't wear gold, though the partial gold band on the GMT is appealing.

Is there any reason you experts would offer as to why I should choose one over the other? (Both are within budget.)

GMTIIC would be my choice! I think the 2nd time zone and a little bit of color on the watch adds a nice touch. The Subs are great watches and built like tanks but I personally think its kinda vanilla.

I am going to say you need to try on the TT GMT II. I was surprised at how nice it was and I am not much of a two-tone fan at all. It is a great looking watch. If you want a side my side comparison here is a pic.

Wow... both are nice, I'm amazed at how similar the two models are (apart from the two-tone).
