The waiting game
Good afternoon all!
So my "child" aka Sub was given to St James Sq this morning for a full service. So pleased its going to look like a brand new watch! (even though it looked like one before!) The cost was £430 and they will notify me of any extra expenses before proceeding, if needs be! The person I gave it to was a real Rolex enthusiast like myself and us! He gave me a booklet which describes the steps that Rolex take to service watches. Really useful. Now I've got the waiting game to play. Tick tock tick tock Millions of pictures will be posted as soon as it comes back! Regards Ash |

This is why you need at least two Rolexes.

Exactly! I tried on a few today after giving my watch to RSC.. I think my next one will be the YG Daytona with MOP dial and diamonds or the Datejust II TT with a grey dial and green roman numerals!
I'm leaning towards the the TT because I already have the all YG! |

Just think, you're almost 10 hours closer to getting your mighty sub back since you started this thread.....
In some kind of weird WIS empathetic, vicarious way, I feel like I'm looking forward to you getting your watch back too! |

I've always enjoyed my dealings, few that they are, with St.James's.
Very professional there. Look forward to the results. |

I'm right there with you. I dropped mine off last week so I have a few weeks to go. I've got the before shots and camera is ready for the aftershots when I get it back. Hang in there! |
