My first Rolex!!!

Well, I don't have it in hand yet. I contacted SwissWatchLuxury the other day and a man named Darryl just got back with me. Some of you may know that I've been looking for a new Datejust but trying to find a place with layaway.

The reason is that I am terrified of ridiculous price increases and availability of the certain model I am looking for.

Darryl told me he has my watch in stock, and that he would put it aside as long as I could pay for it on layaway (I refuse to put jewelry on credit cards, althouth tempting, at 21 I don't want to put myself in debt for any reason) within a year (I'm gettin in by christmas come hell or high water!)

So without further ado.... my datejust!

Congrats Chimpy! Nice sunburst dial! You're going to love the new jubilee style bracelet! Very comfortable!

I've always been turned off by the Jubilee because a lot of people I see wearing them (and know) always have been victims of stretch on the bracelet. But after learning what I have on this forum (thank-you) and finding out the new Jubilee is a solid link design now, I'm definitely getting trembles just thinking about it!

My mom has the older version of mine (her's is the 16234) and while she has little to no stretch on hers (it's 2.5yrs old), the difference between her bracelet and mine as far as 'build' are amazing. You'll be happy I'm sure

Beautiful watch. Congratulations!

I know you wanted to avoid paying sales tax. Were you able to do that?
