IMHO the only thing you'll regret about the 372 is not getting it if you opt for the 390. The plexi adds a warmth & vintage soul that I would not want to be without. It's the PAM to own if 47mm works for you & with an 8.5 wrist it will definitely work for you.

Just a warning.....once you get your 372 and wear it.......other watches you wear will look and feel small.......lol

If by info you mean specific answers to your questions:

DNA - 372 hands-down the winner

Collectability - 390 winner, it's a limited run piece, 2K total vs 6K 372's & counting.

Good value in the future - Tie with a slight edge to the 390 since demand is holding strong on the secondary. When the O series was announced the 372 took a bit of a hit on resale due to supply exceeding demand on the secondary. That being said, the watch is so damn good I have no doubt it will hold value & appreciate over the years, a little more aggressively if they end it with the O's. The 372 is the purest example of Panerai DNA available in a modern piece, you can't improve upon it in any way I can think of given the design intent. For that reason, I see it as a very sound place to park your money if you plan on holding for atleast a few years. As for me.... I'm never selling mine.

Both great Panerai choices....

372 was my choice.

It screams Panerai DNA as has been stated and it is a fantastic watch to wear. Love the 47mm

If you don't mind the plexi and the price tag for a two-hand SS watch, the 372 is hard to beat.

It was a no brainer for me. I had a few 44mm Panerai and had always wanted a 47, so this fit the bill perfectly.

That would have to be a long and serious decision, the 411 has a lot of sentimental value to me, plus its from the birth place of Panerai!! Firenze!! Purely for aesthetics I would choose the 372. Its a winner. I was recently offered a swap, a 390 for my 411 but decided against it.

Have you been offered a 390? I'd still consider buying one if one came up although I fear I'd be buying it for the wrong reason.....future financial gain.

before 372 , my choices are 411 or 390 but loosing luck on 411 since only few were made compare 390.

The 372 is THE Panerai watch. But you can't go wrong with either.

Good luck!

Anybody with a 372 but has a 6.5 wrist?
TS, I think 372 suits your wrist size better, looks better too.

My wrist is abt 6.5, else would love to get the 372.

Since you have a sizable wrist, go for the 372, it will fit you much better.

Fit is one thing to think about given your wrist size, but either will work. Comes down to the plexi for me. I didn't like it, while others LOVE the material. 390 gets my vote.
