Wempe is always a good place to start.

New York is most definately a Rolex "Mecca"

But unless you know the dealer you are buying from (?).....
( I know only one who is the closest thing to wholesale for both used and new and mostly modern)
the rest will... "skin your wallet alive".......no ifs or buts about it.

Buy from this forum...crystalise your desire for a Rolex model - and I am 100% sure
you will find a bargain right here at TRF... among us

William Barthman in the financial district. Tourneau on East 57th, there's also the Wempe Rolex Boutique on 5th Ave which has almost every Rolex piece in the store. There is another Rolex store around the block from the 5th ave store over on Madison.

As for non AD's there is the diamond district around 47th.

Unless one knows what one's doing, I'd stay away from the diamond district.

Go to William Barthman in the Financial District. Ask for the manager, Richard. He is outstanding. Got my YG 18k Daytona from him. They are terrific and will not treat you like a number. Much quieter and less crowed than Tourneau or Wempe. I might go to Torneau and Wempe to look as they have more selection. But go to William Barthman to buy.

And yes I live and work in Manhattan.

Another vote for WB , I got my Chopard at their Brooklyn location, Excellent! For other brands and some interesting stuff, Kenjo on 57th or Wall St.

First place I thought of when the diamonds were mentioned was Vladdys Diamonds on Canal Street. Would be a cool photo op
