Anders, I would go with the 15300 as it's in the original Royal Oak 39mm size. I personally love it and wouldn't consider the 42mm.

I think depends on the your wrist size as well. I like the new dial/batons on the 15400, but in some of the photos I've seen it seems to wear quite a bit larger than the 15300.

The good thing is that can't go wrong with either one though!

Cheers,
James

Anders I would try on 15400--for me it's perfect fit at 41mm.

Others like the smaller 15300.

15400 is the one I would choose.

Paul, is your 15400 dial white or silver? I know some say it's white, while others say silver.

Depends on your wrist. If you have bigger wrist 15400 if smaller then go with 15300. Both can't go wrong.

Just to confuse you guys on the fence some more. I vote classic 39mm white/silver dial 15300.

Agree with previous comments. I chose 15300 because it fit my writ better and it was cheaper.

I have the ROC which 39 and recently tried the 15400 and found it disproportionate on my wrist and looking at it as well. The 39 is not small as there are both the case and bezel which give it the perfect size.

Besides, that is what Mr. Genta had designed 40 years ago.

I'd be in the same boat if considering those 2. I don't think you can go wrong though. I've tried them on back to back and the 2mm isn't very noticeable (maybe some extra weight). Visually they are pretty close.

So why does the 15202 cost approx 30% more than the 15300?

Really depends I the wrist. A 39 doesn't even get over my hand and close on my wrist so a 39 is out for me. So I would say try it on and see. They are both great and the 15202 wins out over the 15300.

15400 for me as I like the 41 mm size. After consistently wearing Panerai for the past two years and recently the 372, everything seems smaller.

Can't lose either way. Both great pieces!

15300 has the classic size with thicker bezel, i like the 15400 41mm size but the bezel is thinner than the 15300

my vote is the 15300

how about the diver on a bracelet anders?
