Hey all,

I have made the leap and left a deposit on my new baby. I am going with a new SUB LV. I can't wait until I can head south to the Portland AD to pick it up this weekend. I will hopefully post some pics once I get home on Sunday. On another note, I am in Vancouver BC, and one of the AD's here does have an LV in stock, and a few of the Ceramic GMT's in SS (or at least they did at 2:00PM this afternoon). The only reason I didn't grab one of them today is there is NO movement off of the Canadian list of $6700 for the LV and $7700 for the GMT. I still find it mindboggling that AD's here will not lower the cost to the US list prices dispite our strong dollar, even with duty it is still less for us to take a day trip down south.

I guess that explains why they had the GMT's in stock though.....

The Sub LV is a top notch choice.

When you get it, wear it.....

You see very few of them out in public..

yup. $7700 for a new ss GMT 2 is way too much. i went to AD couple of hours ago want to buy the new SS GMT 2, out of stock.

Thanks, and I will, I plan on wearing it daily.....Personally, I don't understand the purchase of such an extrodanary watch to put into a dark drawer never to be seen again untill it hits ebay in 2055.

But hey, different strokes right?

$6700 CDN for the LV with 15% tax = $7705 CDN

Even after the airplane ticket, you're saving around $2k. I don't think any AD in Vancouver can match that kind of discount.

yup. cause the last LV i saw in AD cost $5950 out the door. and been 3 weeks. still there.

Every AD I have been in lately has had the LV on display and available for sale so they are there if you want one. My AD today did not have for sale the new GMT IIc until at least next May.

Congrats the LV is a great watch.

I love mine. Hmmmm it's picked up a few hairline scratches on the case sides from my shirt/jacket cuffs....maybe it's time for a new one!!!!!!
