Rolex Cellini value and popularity

Just wondering how you guys think the Cellini line of watches measure up against other dress watches like JLC reverso, master control, Cartier tank, Piaget altiplano or even against the datejust or day-date. When most think of Rolex, it's usually the Oyster Perpetuals. And i believe the oysters are what put Rolex on the map. Are Cellinis well respected among collectors or would you rather spend that much money on a watch by other brands (ie. JLC, Cartier, Glasshute)? In addition, Rolex is one of the few brands that hold value well, could you say the same for the Cellini models or is that strictly the oyster models?

The Oysters is what Rolex is all about IMO. Although there are some very nice Cellinis they don't have the Rolex DNA. For a dressy Rolex I would go DJ/DD, otherwise a nice Reverso or GO in the same price range.
