Collectible price ranges
I am thinking about getting a watch but there may be collectibles in that range. For instance, a well used President is about $12k but you can get a sharp looking Red Sub for that amount.
Want a Yachtmaster II? Well how about a Double Red Seadweller instead? And on and on it goes. What collectibles are out there for $5,000? $10,000? Other than the aforementioned watches. I mean what should we watch for out there? |

For me it was a '98 Daytona with Zenith movement.

Depends on what comes with it - 1680, 16800 Subs and 16660 Sea Dwellers can be had in the range pretty easily right now. But you might not get the box and papers.

You'd be LUCKY to get a 16250 for 10,000!
Anyway, I would go for a Red 1680!

Honestly Robert
At that price range, there are many models of Rolex to go for, or even non Rolex. The most important thing is to get the one that you will enjoy wearing, or else it'll just sit in the safe. Don't worry about "investment" value only enjoyment value, or else buy solid investments like shares etc. Look around, take your time, the ONE will pop in front of you. John. |
