Looking out to Moffett Field, my SMP waits for the shuttle to fly by on its jumbo ride - which it did 10 minutes later, low and slow right over our building.

Nice photo! I was in Santa Clara at the time and couldn't see a thing!

Sweet. It is quite a sight to see the SS fly piggy-back on that 747. I saw it back in 79 fly over, and saw it land twice out at Edwards after a mission. Actually I saw the roll out as well of the original shuttle. Long time ago.

Thanks! I was thinking about snapping a picture with the Shuttle in the background, but I decided to do a cell phone video instead.
