A Datejust II all gold?
Does anyone know if there are any plans for an all gold date just 2?

I have no idea, I want to think it would be a good idea as it would look good but somehow I'm thinking it would probably be better to just go with the Day-Date II (how about they offer a model with an Oyster bracelet instead?).

Rolex has a solid gold 36mm DJ which I suspect doesn't sell very well ... if you're looking at spending that amount of money, then only a little bit more will give you the iconic DD. My AD said the solid gold 36mm DJ is a special order watch only as they don't stock it as it never sells in comparison to the DD which are always popular. So maybe that's why they don't offer a solid gold DJII?

I believe the YG DJ is also on a strap, not with a gold bracelet....
I don't think they'll ever introduce a all Gold DJ or DJII, as they would hurt their DD sales - they'd rather have you step-up, then have DD buyers step down... |

I say 100% no to that.
Like everyone else said, there is the DDII, which is the exact same pretty much with the added day feature and different bracelet... Having that said, Rolex wouldnt make a DJII in all gold... |

A DJ2 in white gold with silver rhodium dial. Hell since we're wishing I would rather have it in all TI.

Who knows. I'm not that familiar with all the DJ combos (as we all know there are too many to count) but I saw an all YG DJ on a president bracelet once. Not sure if it was actually like that from Rolex or if it was done by the owner but for the price I'd get a DD.
