Daytona C all metal, will it ever happen....
..yes here´s another Daytona C thread. :) Im a Daytona fan, without owning one. I´m hesitating to get one because of the bezel, I´d love it with a ceramic.
What do you guys think of an all metal Daytona C? (sorry about my lack of Photoshop skills)

Do you mean on a bracelet Patrik?
I think it is enevitable that Rolex will roll out ceramic bezels across the entire Daytona range. Which may in fact be a little odd, because we could be paying a higher MRSP for less precious metal

Think it looks awesome, though I'd prefer a PN re-issue

I think the ceramic bezel will definately happen on all of the Daytonas eventually. Just a mater of time but it could be a while.
If Rolex does what they typicaly do with new introductions then the all gold bracelet models would be next, followed by the TT and then the SS. Just my thought as I really don't have a clue. |

I honestly can't imagine my TT Daytona with a ceramic bezel. Its just not "right"
However I could see an update to the SS model. Hopefully they would make Panda dials instead of what they have now. |

I think a black Ceramic dial would look hideous on a TT Daytona. Hideous.
Wonder if Rolex will break tradition and skip the TT model and roll out the steel with Ceramic next Basel. |

i prefer the all metal bezels on the Daytonas. that said I see no reason as to why Rolex would not have full bracelets on this model. Any chance they get to charge a higher price for their product only makes sense.

Why were you a fan then ?? And after they produce the ceramic but then have a "new" movement, will you hesitate again ?? Anyway, as folks have said, the ceramic is on the way in a couple of years.. Probably cost about $25k by then..

I'd love to see that Daytona with pink dial/black sub dials in real life.

I think the newer version should include the date window around 5 o'clock as per the Tudor and the Zenith versions that were concurrent with the Zenith-movement early versions.
The Daytona is an outlyer in the Rolex line. I am glad to see it has a legion of fans. I am not sure I'd want one unless I had a stable of Rollies to add it to, and unfortunately, that is not likely to happen. |

Lol! I actually just started my automated savings account before reading your post. Won't even have to think about saving. And some day in the future there will magically be the funds for a new watch. Simsalabim.
Ok to be honest it's more of a pension fund. At 32 it's time for that :( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
