I just did a Google search looking for images on Sub winding positions, and got blindsided by this from wikiHow. Amazing how much misinformation is available for free on the internet:

How to Wind a Rolex

A Rolex is a high quality, luxury wristwatch made by the Rolex company. A Rolex watch is a status symbol, making it the largest single luxury watch brand worldwide. Each modern Rolex watch features a self winding mechanism created with a thin piece of quartz that vibrates as the watch moves and creates an electrical charge to power the watch. As long as the watch is moving, it will have power. This is known as "perpetual movement." However, these "perpetual" watches can stop if they're left motionless for too long. If this happens to your Rolex, follow these steps to wind it.

Looks like someone did some editing since it reads as below now.

Still needs some more editing though...that part about "as long as the watch is moving it will have power" is not accurate. If you take off your Rolex and set it down it is still going to have "power"

Wait...what? I thought they had Swiss made batteries or something? I'm pretty sure they do, because I heard Rolex watches start at about $40k.
