Hello from the Shwa! Canada

Hi,

Greetings from Oshawa, Ontario, Canada.

Decided the time is right to acquire a Rolex. Not 100% sure which model I will go with, but thought it would be a good idea to jump on board and become a member of this board.

Narrowing down the choices. Giving serious consideration to...

Stainless/Platinum or Two-Tone Yacht Master Mid-Size

Two-Tone Date with smooth Bezel and oyster bracelet

Explorer II

The choices are endless and hope to purchase a couple along the way!

Did own a Submariner for all of 48 hours back in about 1979. Long story... Fiance... communication error... oh well!

Welcome to TRF!

All would be fine choices, but personally I would go for the Explorer II

I don't want to get technical, but according to chemistry alcohol IS a solution!

If one is good, two is better, and three; well you get the idea!

Welcome aboard EH! I would go with the SS Plat YM all the way that is one of my top choices for a Rolex... maybe one day?

Welcome,
I'd probably go for the ExplorerII. Remember that the trend is to larger size watches. Accordingly, I would recommend against a mid-size.
So good shopping and get the one you like the most

Going to the Schwa when I get out of here! I heard I have a relative there who has a building named after him (us). Gotta check it out!
