Pic Request
Hi All!
I'm having a hard time deciding which Rolex to get, so maybe some pics would help. I was wondering whether someone could do a group shot for me with the black GMT II (not the one with ceramic bezel), the black Submariner and the white dial Explorer II. Of course, I already saw the watches on other pictures, but I think a group shot (with the same lightning conditions for each watch) would make it easier for me to say which watch I like best. Of course, even if I manage to pick a favorite, I'll still check them out all three at an AD, cause in real life, watches always look quite different I think. Cheers, Dennis |

Thanks guys!
You know, the problem is they all look great!! Although I really like the Explorer II, I think I slightly prefer the GMT and the Sub. I find it much more difficult to decide between the Sub and the GMT. On the Sub, I like the fact the bezel is not too busy, and I like the font used for the numbers on the bezel. Also it has the triplock crown. On the other hand, since I already own a diver watch (Omega Seamaster), I think it would be interesting to go for the GMT. Also, I kind of like the twinlock; it's so nicely protected by the crown guards, and you probably won't have the "digging in your wrist" problem as you would have with the triplock (just guessing). Maybe the all black GMT would be the best of both worlds for me! We'll see... Good thing is, I've still plenty of time to think about it; I haven't got enough cash just yet ![]() |

![]() Used to own a sub, 14060. The GMT wears lighter, lays flatter and I don't have the perpetual crown 'rash' on the back of the wrist like I did w/the sub. On the negative side, despite the heavier weight, the Sub felt more substantial and somehow I equated that w/quality and value. I almost bought a Sub/Date or Seadweller when I purchased my GMT. In the end, comfort and ergonomics won. You can't fault any of them in the looks department. I don't see the attraction of the white Exp II, just me... Good luck making your choice.

I had the same problem. Sub ND or Explorer II Polar. I eventually got both.
