Rolex Oyster Perpetual 116000

I've been eyeing the OP 116000 for a while but can't decide which dial I like better.... blue or silver?

Which dial do you like best of the two?

Here's a pic that I took at the AD today:

I know...

Get the one that has the two-tone, silver/blue dial.

Silver will be easier to live with daily

Those are my thoughts too... still, the blue is nice, too. But you're right. Maybe the silver dial is more subdued and classic... suitable for every occasion.

What I think about the BLUE dial:

1) It tends to make the watch look "bigger"?

2) It gives a more "sporty" look to the OP 116000

3) It's more difficult to read the time from than from the silver dial.

The Silver looks classier and more expensive IMO,that would be my choice.

Silver. The blue is too jarring.

Jarring as in "too busy"?

Silver

This was my first Rolex, it is a nice watch.

If it were fluted bezel, my choice would be the blue.

The blue looks great and is sportier, can you deal with it on a daily basis though? The silver dial is a lil more low key and will no doubt go with everything.
My AP perpetual calendar had a blue dial and it looked awesome! TONS of comps on the watch.

Silver!

A classier look and easier on the eye.
The blue's a little "loud".

What other dials do you have? Get the dial color which you don't currently have. Silver is more versatile. I have the same blue OP in 26mm and I love the fact that it is different. My DJ has a silver dial.

I love blue dials. Miss my old Date - it had a blue dial and it was quite versatile. The contrast aided in readability, too.

Op 116000

Kære Bo
Har netop købt uret med blå skive, og sidder i netop dette dilemma, at klarlund skifter den til silver indenfor 3 måneder, hvis jeg ønsker dette, hvad skal jeg vælge, nogen gode råd fra en ur devise??

Blue is cool, but silver is (for me, at least) more versatile.

And would be a great complement to my Explorer I. But you do not have one, perhaps...

Best,

A

Looks too small for you Big Boy.

You would soon flip it.

Go for the Big Yin.

I can't tell you the exact model because I'm buying one when the dial is available.

I've always liked the blue on the 116000.
The silver is nice but I like a little contrast.
