Trinity

After almost 2 years of flipping, these are the remnants of my desires.

Recently sold the Speedy/Bondwatch suprisingly with no regrets.

Tritium dials somehow are special as each one is different. You can never get 2 similar t-dial watches, even of the same model. Both the exp 2 and SD are "U" series, btw.

16750---with the quickset date and matte dial, it's the best among the GMTs for me.

16570---in the explorer range, only the 40mm polar speaks to me.

16600-- my favourite in the Sub genre.

Now for the daytona white...

You have a nice collection - they are all great watches... but given that you have 3 Rolexs, you have really geared them all towards "sporty". Why not mix it up with a DJ, or something a bit more dressy? The GMT and Sea Dweller to me are just too much alike to have in a collection of 3.

DJ doesn't work for me, unfortunately...

Great trio, the upcoming white Daytona can fill in as your dress watch.

I'm with you. Sport models only. Although I'd love a daytona, it's a bit too much $$ for me. I have an exp II, sea dweller, and nd sub.

I agree with tortuga that a DJ or a DD would round out the collection nicely, but if dress watches are not your cup of tea then they're not your cup of tea.

As for the GMT and the Sea Dweller being too much alike to be in the same collection, as tortuga suggests, I'd have to disagree.

The Sea Dweller is a diving watch with a lapsed time bezel, a Trip-Lock crown, and a helium escape valve. The GMT is a watch for those who require more than one time zone and has a 24 hour bezel and a second hour-hand for that function.

Looks aside, they are two completely different watches with two completely different functions.

Nice collection.

Thx.

A Daytona 116520 to round it off would be the aim. Has to be white though.

Long term hunt would be a PP aquanaut but then we are talking years of savings.
