Jubiliee link removal
Hi all, this is my first post on here so be gentle with me!! I have just purchased a Ladies Datejust N series with a jubiliee bracelet. I haven't received it yet but I know I will have to remove some links as my wrist is quite small. Just wondered how you go about this and if it is something to tackle yourself or let a jeweller do it for you. Have tried searching for this on the forum, but no luck so sorry if this has been asked before.

This model has links that are removed with tiny screws. Unless you have a background in working with eye magnification devices and small screwdrivers, I would leave it up to someone professional who deals with these sorts of things on a daily basis.
To the 'expert' it's no big deal, but if you attempt it with the wrong size device, you'll have scratches on the bracelet in no time. Expect to pay something for the service, but I doubt you'll feel exploited when you get the final bill if you're using someone familiar with Rolex. Call a dealer of the brand for a referral or call a watch repair person. |
