For Sale: 1970 Rolex model 1680 Submariner with original dial (mark IV)
serial number 25XXXXX, inner case back stamped 1.70

Extras: Comes with an original inner Rolex box and COCS hang tag

This gorgeous Submariner has been fully serviced by a certified Rolex watchmaker and is ready to go. It wears the original dial/hands and has an off-white patina, original top hat crystal, original dark gray to black colored fat font bezel insert and the original 9315 bracelet dated 1971. The insert pearl has been replaced by a correct, genuine Rolex tritium pearl, the case tube and winding crown are converted to trip-lock and the date disc is white with the open 6's and 9's.

The band is in very good condition for its age, with slight stretch and a few scratches. The coronet on the clasp is in excellent condition, very visible and has not been overly polished. There are two very small dings on the back of the caseback but do not detract from the excellent condition of this watch.
