It This Price for White SS Daytona a Good Deal?
Hi,
I am about to buy white SS Daytona and the AD told me that the price is 13,500 CAD, and it is not negotiable, because it is a special watch, hard to find and etc. I told he I'm gonna play by cash but it didn't change anything. Do you guys think it is a good deal? If not, please tell me how much should it be. Thank you for helping.

There are better deals thru the sellers here. I'd PM a couple of them, and let them quote you a price. It can be guaranteed to be cheaper than your AD ..

I was quoted $12.1 by a Canadian AD who had both white and black in stock.

DavidSW has a black faced for sale here. At the low price of $12475 US. Not sure how much Canadian import taxes are, but that sounds like it would be pretty similarly priced ish.

If OP cares about the name on the warranty card (which is usually not needed in warranty period anyway), then I guess it is worth going with AD, but I prefer David's style, and he can easily source a white one. |

We can talk about this all day and over and over. The bottom line on SS Daytonas is location. Here where I live they are in almost every AD at list and at EVERY grey at list or slightly below. Used ones are plentiful.
However in some areas of the world (the UK/ parts of the States come to mind) there are wait lists and salespeople that will roll their eyes when you ask for one. It is location location location. If you want one good luck to you. They are beautiful and wear so nicely. I have owned both the white and black dial. They are worth what the general watch buying public is willing to pay for them in your particular area. If you are able to buy one on TRF and get it through customs legally and the math works out for you then here they are. |
