Would you recommend a composite?
I don't know much about metal but I do remember reading from somewhere aluminum is a soft metal. And composite pam are actually treated aluminum, am I correct?
But would you recommend it over SS? |

Why not just get SS, PVD SS, carbon, or ceramic? These are proven cases. I can't say that I've heard many good things about composite.

True. I would rather get ceramic over composite. Aluminum is very soft compared to SS or ceramic. I agree with Mike

Thanks guys, yes in fact been on a lookout for a fair priced DLC or PVD 000. Was just curious as the new 504 is tickling me :)

I think the composite/ceramic variants make a nice additional to any Panerai collection.
I have found them a little less flexible in sofar as strap matching - but why not give them a try if its your cuppa tea!

Wasn't one of the composite models withdrawn from the line up?
I like steel or ceramic |

if you like the look, why not? with panerai releasing new composites it would seem that any 339 issues have been resolved. personally, there's a tad bit too much brown for me, but, that's just me.
great!! if you do, would love to hear about it. |
