The store is almost ready. All the display cabs are built and they are just putting the final touches for display setups. I guess maybe another few day from opening.

I'll be back to check it out. Maybe they'll let me take a couple snaps of some new releases :D

Cofion Cynnes,

Matte

This mall is starting to get quite an interesting mix of luxury goods retailers to go along with the average stores. Just had a grand opening of the new Cartier store and already have Tiffany & Co. Kind of an odd spot for this to be happening. Not like the area is tremendously affluent.

yup. yorkdale mall parking lot isnt exactly the greatest parking lot to be 'cruising' back to your car with your new 'rollie'

malls nice. the areas still pretty 'shady'

With all the marble on the front of this place, and the overhead in the mall....It's going to be tough to get a discount here.

yeah, i seen the new Cartier store. i had half a mind to head in there and give a tank a try, but was distracted by the new microsoft store that opened up. also the new tesla store as well is showcasing a couple tesla cars. they're pretty slick.

IIRC around 800 new underground parking spaces and suppose to be flashing lights to indicate where open parking spots are available. What YD Mall REALLY NEEDs... More efficient entry and exit points.

I'm excited too as my work location is across from YD Mall...

Just a thought... a Toronto meet up at YD Mall? First we'll meet up inside Indigo and grab every watch magazine off the shelf and head over to their coffee shops and talk watches. Head over to European Jeweller and bug them for a good and save the grand finally for Raffi...

If it's currently not a great area but high end brands are moving into the area. Is it worth picking up an investment condo there?

investment condo?

condo bubble is about to burst in toronto. invest if you want to 'lose your shirt'

only thing i'd invest in around yorkdale mall is a bulletproof vest

They're a great AD. I used to buy Omega's from their store in Oakville. Always a good experience there.

Just went in the other day to the Yorkdale store and picked up a new Air King! If I do purchase another Rolex in the future, I'll be a repeat customer here for sure.

parking isnt that bad lolll going to downtown toronto now thats a lot worse, yorkdale during christmas or boxing day yes then it may be hard but any other time of the year I have never had problems with parking? even holiday season and boxing day just wait near front ask someone to follow them to their car and your good any other time worse case park far away in the lot

I wonder which one would go the lowest, you have to go in with cash in hand to figure that one out im sure,,,I wonder what they pay Rolex for the watch, as with any business some people will discount to win the business if they know you are going to buy so im sure with the right bargaining it could be more then 25% althought the 24% they stated right off the bat seemed good, now 25% and no tax that could work? Diamani said they want cash, cash only, yorkdale said any payment is fine. I never called anyone else.
