24 hour to local time.
Then use the hour hand jump feature to move with me while traveling, thus leaving the 24 hour hand for easy reference of home!!

There is no right or wrong however, so set it how or what you want it to display.

If I had one, this is what I would do, not Vegas but to the time of where I would like to be... right now that would be Honolulu time.

24 hour hand set to French time, the other to home time in Canada. When I am in France, the quick jump moves to French time, the bezel rotates to indicate Quebec time on the 24 hour hand.

Isn't GMT = UTC = Zulu?

I'm unfortunate in the fact that I live in a GMT +9 1/2 time zone

Those 1/2 zones are silly. A time zone should be a time zone.

I live in a cave so I use it on my exp 42 so I know whether it's AM or PM.

Therefore.....set to home time.

Right now green hand is Israel time. If I start traveling a lot again across time zones I would leave the regular hands at home time. Then the green to the place I work with the most. Then move the bezel to the country I am visiting for easy changes across time zones.

If I need track of more tha 3 time zones then I woul set the green to GMT and I get 3 physical and a lot virtual...

I like to have the regular watch hands at home because it makes me feel like I am there...
