Gopro hero 3, do you have one?

Hello!

At the end of the month I'll go to Philippines to celebrate the wedding of a russian friend :) He dives and I dive, so I thought that will be nice idea to give him as a present (will be a present for the couple) a Goprohero 3. The future wife will start to dive in Philippines.

I decided to buy also one for me:)

Do you have one? which one you have?

Regards

I don't have a 3, but I've got a 2 with an underwater lens on it, and it's AWESOME!

Here is a me doing some freediving of a swim through. As a diver, it's great for everything underwater.

anyone know if the prices of the gph2 are going to be going down at some point? i have some under water adventures coming up in the coming months, and my ancient olympus water proof camera just ain't gonna cut it.

Cofion Cynnes,

Matte

If you do get a 2, make sure you get a flat lens for it. The 2 won't focus underwater without it.

www.makospearguns.com sells them as well as a flat lens and a color correcting filter.

I have a couple of the Gopro Hero2's I use in my race car. They work great for what I use them for. I have the Wi-Fi remote for both. You can now find the Hero2 at places like Costco for around $199.00 with the Wi-Fi Bac Pac included(no remote). Don't plan on upgrading anytime soon. I looked at the 3, but I don't need the higher frame rate or the expense of upgrading all my housings, mounts etc etc.
