Arnie's drawers.

An article in December Watchtime about Arnold Schwarzenegger, the watch collector and his association with AP.

I couldn't believe the following images of how he keeps his watches (if the photos taken are true).

Bloody disgrace compared to how I look after my watches.

One thing I can say is that his philosophy on watches is dead on with me, except I'd take a little better care since I had to scrape to buy one. He doesn't believe in winders or anything. He says he just digs one up that he likes winds it up, sets the time and done.
Besides, Arnold is a filthy rich and like 90% of those watches were free. Go Arnie

Lol. He doesn't associate the same value we do to them. So the same level of care isn't there. He probably knows nothing of AP other than that its a big bulky watch that looks good with his humvee.

That goes to show you that when you work hard for something and spend your money on it, you take better care of it. He may not believe in winders and such but he could at least take a little better care of these awesome pieces. Stuff like this makes me nauseas

What a hot mess; even if I were filthy rich I would need more organization than that!

I only wish I could open my dressing room drawer and seeing all my 'babies' but with a little more care. I'd hate to see how many scratches there are.

Yep. When things are comp'd to you (free), one tends to take them for granted.

Sad.

I think the picture was manufactured...

None of the watches are sitting on each other metal to metal. I think it was staged. The metal on the expensive watches is always resting on something soft such as a watch band...

Good point, the brushed bezels look too clean of the expected dings if carelessly thrown in a drawer.

Felt that way too when I first saw the pictures. Anyhow, still nice watches, whether being thrown or pampered like a baby!
