FSOT - 4-Watch Winder (JFA Captiva) -SOLD-
I have for sale a German-made JFA Captiva 4-watch winder made from beautiful black lacquered wood with Burlwood inlay, written up in March 2006 IW magazine. The workmanship of the cabinet is flawless. The interior is made from beautifully finished red cedar. It has two pro-fuzzy logic electric motors (run excellent), each controlled independently via a rocker switch with LED power indicator. It also comes with two keys for the lock. It plugs into a standard 110 volt outlet. Some other notable details are as follows:
-Gold-plated brass inlay on lid. -Double hinge protection includes brass piano hinge and brass side hinges. -Dimensions: 6.25" h x 13.75" w and 9.5" d. Overall, I would rate its condition as 95%, simply because it is used, although I cannot find any marks, scratches or any damage on it. I’ve owned it for approximately 14 months and am selling it because I have reduced my collection of automatic watches to 3 and was recently given a two-watch winder as a present. This watch-winder lists news on the JFA website for $1,499.00 USD and the workmanship, attention to detail and craftsmanship are exceptional. My asking price, including UPS shipping in continental North America, is $375.00 USD. Anywhere else will be real cost, which will be confirmed on a case-by-case basis. A couple of final points: I only accept PayPal as the method of payment (no e-cheques). Secondly, I have many “Good Guy” references on WUS and can provide e-mail references, also. My e-bay id is “jd3703” and I have a 100% rating over 2.5 years. In terms of trade, I am looking for a GMT watch and can add some cash, if necessary. If you have any questions, let me know. My e-mail address is: jdebruin@sympatico.ca (nights) or debruin.ja@forces.gc.ca (days). Thanks for looking. James ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
