I have to agree, they do ruin a watch. Each to his own opinion, but this one is mine as well.

Some bad photo shopping there too. Eyyuk.

Someone out there will like it, but that someone isn't me.

If they're getting worse and worse, dare I wonder what the next iteration will look like?

Hard to blame the company if someone will buy it.

Surely but how many who see these monstrosities know its not officially 'Rolex' one like this , it could be argued, is detrimental to the brand name

I don't dislike the DLC coating as much as I used to, but that dial is ugly IMO.

I love DLC coatings, but I would only buy one done by the company itself, such as the Blancpain Dark Knight...

after all it's serious violation of their patent and copyright

No sure how they do that.

This is no different than people customizing cars. As this forum points out time and time again, it is a watch that belongs to a person and they are fre to do with it as they will. As long as the watches are not being sold as new, there is nothing Rolex can do.

That has got to be the ugliest PVC coated watch I have ever seen. That dial is terrible. I am sure someone will like buy it but I wouldn't wear that watch if it where given to me.

if every dial is an individual creation by the artist, i can see the appeal for some i suppose.
