AP ROO Panda - is this normal?

Hi all,

As an update to my recent thread re AP ROO and small wrist, I bought the Panda in the end.. Taking your advice I got the short OEM strap as well and it fits great.. Thanks guys! (Pics in the other thread..)

Just something I'm concerned about though.. After giving it a good wind (say 30 winds) and wearing it for a full day, I noticed that after taking it off, it stops in about 13 hours.. This has happened twice already. Is this normal? I thought it's power reserve was 3 days..

This is a brand new watch as well so servicing shouldn't be an issue.. Kindly let me know your thoughts guys.

Cheers!

Not normal if fully wound.

It is certainly not normal.

I would take it back straight away and get it looked at. From a full wind is should last 50+ hours.

Are you sure it's fully wound? How active are you? If you don't move much, then your watch can't store the energy. If not fully wound, and a "slow" lifestyle then it might stop after 13hours without use.

Hi thanks for the fast replies!

I'm not sure if it's fully wound, but then again how can I be sure? Is there a point at which the spring will be too tight, and I can't go any further? I give it like maybe, 30-50 winds?

I lead a normal lifestyle I would say, no sports with the watch on, but then again I don't think many would wear such a watch and play tennis etc..

If fully wound ( and 50 full turns is more than enough) even if not worn, it should last longer that that.

Needs to be checked!

After 30 winds though and wearing it for a day - it should be lasting way more than 13 hours. Something is definitely wrong - so get it looked at
