Hi folks,
Just want to say hello to everyone.

Been interested in Rolex's for over 20 years.

What's the best way to establish the origin of any Rolex you own?

Welcome to TRF!

My interest for Rolex also started pretty much 20 years ago when I got my first Rolex in 1989 (an SS Sub Date).

What do you mean by "origin"? If you buy a vintage Rolex, I can understand what you mean. If so old service papers can tell you something about the history of the watch, and there is also a country code on the COSC certificate that can tell you where in the world the Rolex was shipped to. Furthermore, the COSC certificate tells you when the Rolex was made.

See more about these codes in the FAQ's in the "General Rolex Forums".

Thanks for the welcome.

My interest is for early Submariners/Seadwellers (Red label, DRSD, Comex and Military issue).
when I get the hang of attaching photos I'll post some of the above watches from my collection.
Can anyone tell me 'Are Rolex still taking orders for the Green bezel Sub?
