Zemina fell in love...

...with the Panny she saw on the wrist of 'Frank Martin' in Transporter 2.

Just got home from a Friday evening at the movies. Thought we'd go and see some good action and "Transporter 2" was the unanimous choice.

In one of the opening scenes, a great close up of the Luminor was shown and it did look superb. Zemina was going ooooh and aaaaaah.....sheesh while my poor TT YM was crying his poor heart out!!!

But that damn Panny did look good on the big screen.

Oh sure, it was Zemina who was after a Tuna Can! Pull the other leg, JJ - we can see this one coming from a country mile away!

Well, I think the ExpII may go for a Panny trade. But JJ, remember, a Panny will eat into the TT Daytona fund.

Hold it, guys, just hold it there one cotton pickin' moment!!!

I clearly said Zemina fell in love with it - not me - I did admire it though!!

Would never part with any Rolex for that...and as Johnny rightly put it, my Daytona funds would go out the window. And another thing....remember, with me it's the Rolex ONLY policy?

You mean the policy you had when you bought the Railmaster? The policy you had when you bought the dreaded pumpkin?

Sure JJ. Maybe some piccies to help you along??

And if she's so attracted to the Panerai look, imagine how much more night time fun you will have. You'll be needing those little blue pills

I forgot to add one very vital thing that Zemina also said: "Somehow, I don't like straps!!" Those were her exact words and I have to agree. Never been a strap lover myself and those Panny crowns are a distinct turn-off.

Please don't be offended...that's the last thing I'd ever want to do to such wonderful friends as you guys....but I like to be frank and up front.

The dials, on the other hand, are truly superb and that is the most captivating part about the Panny.

What's next I wonder. (And I doubt if you're man enought to wear a Panerai ).

But I must hand it to you JJ, you know what you want and you're always straight on target!

That last bit was a very fair comment, Frans, and I'd like to thank you for it. Yes, I do know what I want and a Panny (admirable and stunning though the watch may be) is NOT on my list.

I have seriously made up my mind to stick to Rollies only. I know I'm wrong, I know I'm being silly, but then that's ME!! I admire, love and respect most other brands, but for me it has to be a ROLEX and a ROLEX ONLY!!

Cheers - JJ

LOL! So you mean to say that my forehead starts somewhere just above my eyebrows and ends at the nape of my neck?

No, JJ, with you it's quite different. You're a scholar, an erudite thinker. A man of WISdom!

I've unwittingly seen a few "members" in my life, but truly wonder what a "gold" member would look like?
