android browser on trf, opens new tab when I click on a link

hi guys

I am using a Sony Tablet with android with the android web browser. Somehow I have changed a setting that opens a new tab in the browser eveytime in click/select a thread. It didnt do this initially. So I end up with a stupid amount of tabs open which is starting to annoy me. Other websites maintains the same tab when is select a link. i have tapatalk but dont like it so no posts telling me to use tapatalk please.
Can anyone point me in the right direction on this?

You can re-check your setting in your browser or try Dolphin browser or just close the tabs myself run Jelly bean and have no problems with stock or Dolphin browser.But just like the the Ipad flash is not supported with Android jelly bean, but now like apple there are many apps that make all web sites work even BBC I-player.
