Can I purchase this Daytona dial from AD?

Hello all...

My brother has a SS Daytona with white dial and wants to change the dial to the one in the picture. I think this dial only comes with white gold model.
Can he order the dial separately from an AD and have them also install it?

How easy is it to change a dial on Daytonas?

Thanks guys!

No, you cannot have that done, mainly out of ONE reason:

That dial is supplied to the WHITE GOLD Daytona only. The reason is that - basically - that dial configuration (Roman numerals) IDENTIFIES the WG Daytona as actually being the WG Daytona and NOT the SS version. A further identification is made by the bezel having TRIANGULAR markers (and again: that bezel can not - or rather MAY/WILL not - be fitted to an SS Daytona).

If your name's Walter, it is very easy!

Sorry, but a dial change would be best done by a Rolex-trained person, outside the Rolex Paradise.

Nah! Why sell it??

You can get a black dial for it. The black dial for the SS version, that is!

Your AD might have one, or else RSC would. The charge would be the cost of the dial (no idea how much that is) and a fee for installing it.
