Daytona strap made by ABP
Hello everyone,
Popped around ABP when we were in Paris last month. Had a strap made by them. Still being impressed every time I look at it. What nice work! And what passionate and knowledgeable staff who gave watch lovers the attention their collections deserve! Attention to detail was unfaltering - From the choice of leather, style of strap, backing of strap, to colour of stitches, and the types of stitch. Lots of options, and they made it exactly as I wanted. A very enjoyable experience. http://www.abp-paris.com/watchbands_...hp?rid=7&cid=1 Highly recommended, if anyone interested in having top quality watch straps made. Bad pix taken in-flight,..let me work on it a little later. More pix later,.. |

Sounds like a Savile Row tailor for watch straps. How many fittings were there?

Whoa - that looks really nice. The stitching really works with the dial/hands.
Nice! I have the Rubber B strap but that hornback looks perfect. |

Looks good from what I can see. I would love to see some better pics of the whole watch with the strap on it. Congrats though, looks great

They would make any combination one desire. The limit is only one's imagination. workshop has probably 20 different types of leather, each has various colours, texture, thickness. I am sure you can custom order one to match your SS model. |

That's just a reference to getting a custom suit made. Might visit the tailor a couple of times to check for fit before the suit is finished.

3 times, in that case. BTW, they have rush service (varies from 2 hrs to 72 hrs) to make it, should one have time constraint. |

Hehe... From a quick glance at the site a bespoke horn back is pretty spendy!

ABP is the best for aftermarket straps. I love their exotics like stingray, ostrich as well as there special tanning croc straps. Color selection is out of this world

I just ordered two special-tannings, one croc, one python, day before yesterday. I was impressed with how quickly and helpfully they responded to a couple of questions I had prior to placing the order. I wish I had the advantage you did of looking at the actual skin and discussing everything in person there in the shop (especially hole placement and scale size/pattern). Their on-line order process allows for special comments and I emailed a diagram, so I'm optimistic.

As far as I know, they covers every brand, from PP, Vachon Constantin to Casio, and every type of strap.
As long as you can provide the measurement, or photos of the existing strap, they can manage it. These guys know what they are doing. |

Looks fantastic......
I've got a couple from ABP and most definitely agree that they are the best I've come across when it comes to the unique bespoke end of the market. I've got a black ostrich leg leather with red stitching and red lining on my red 1680 Sub and a black alligator with double lined orange stitching and orange lining on my tango lume 16800 Sub |

So you are able to pick out certain colours or characteristics in your watch to add to the overall look and style..... Something you just can't do with Rolex or any other major brand supplier who work more on volume.... They are fairly expensive so only really worth buying if you are going for something unusual. From memory mine cost around 450 euros each. |
