Should I trade my Milgauss for an Omega 9300 chrono?

Need advice here....I have a chance to trade my 2008 Milgauss white dial for a 2012 omega 9300 chrono. What do you guys think? I currently have a speedy pro and a submariner. Any thoughts on future resale value? Thanks.

Keep the Rolex...you have one Omega already. That is enough.
Real value is in Rolex and Patek.

You did not say if it was a seamaster Planet ocean or Speedmaster you are you are considering, they both use the 9300 movement. if its the the Planet ocean .........leap at the chance to own this beauty. The speedy is just as good and of course has this amazing 9300 movement, but will not hold its value like the seamaster will

You have a Speedmaster, keep the Milgauss

As for resale who knows? Unless you are only looking to flip it. As for speculation, my Speedmaster is worth for more on a percentage increase basis than my Rolex watches over the same period

As much as I love Omega, I'd never trade a Milgauss for a Seamaster or Speedmaster cal9300.

Don't do it. The POC 9300 is 2cm thick and sits high - it is almost comical. While big watches are never going away, the pendule is certainly beginning to swing back towards more normal-sized watches and owning some oversized wrist dish will certainly effect resell value in a few years time.

I wanted to like the POC, but this is how it sits on a 7 1/4 wrist

Would be an easy decision for me...Planet Ocean, especially if it was the Blue 9300 Titanium on the Blue Rubber....that takes some beating

That is crazy high. And I thought the Milgauss sat high on the wrist! Keep the Milgauss.

The PO is incredibly thick as others have said, make sure you give one a try before you go through with it.

agreed, this is the 9300 chrono to have, but, as has been said, it's a THICK beast.

the white milgauss is such a different watch. i would keep it and save for the omega.

I would keep the Milgauss. Keep in mind that the POC is 18 mm thick.

[QUOTE] It's a PO.

The PO is in a differant league than the Milgauss IMHO but if your wrist size is below 7.5 inches it may overpower your wrist slightly. High visually impacting piece the PO, with one on the best movements on the market in the Rolex/Omega ranges.

Hard to beat the co-axial movement, but the size is a little too much for me.

I would keep the Rolex since you don't have another. I too have been eyeing the PO Chrono. I would just save up for it. Of course this comes from a person that buys only and never sells...
