Your opinions please?

This looks quite nice, but I'm not certain if it's something anyone has seen before to even try to determine if it's real:

As always, thanks!

I really don't know . . .

But the box . . . a little bit to young I am afraid . . .

Good luck

No close up pictures is a red flag. So is an almost new box.

It looks like a typical Rolex tonneau design of late 20s to 30s. From my references, it looks pretty good, but I have no specific model ID and can't verify its authenticity. Its hard to believe that they are counterfeiting models that old with such a limited market potential - tooling up, even for this, would be expensive...but times are tough.

The second line on the dial is impossible for me to read, but it might indicate that it was made for a specific retailer (common Rolex practice for the time period), perhaps domestic or of another country. The box, if real, is $100+ worth - to match your modern gents sport watch.

I would definitely want to see better pics, including the caseback, and the movement. I think I have seen similar ones sell for $300-$400 (without the unrelated newer box, of course). I would steer clear of this one.......but, of course, that is simpl my opinion....
