The Vintage posts are so interesting

Hi,

I have been on the forum a while in the general posts and last night decided to stray over to the vintage section, wow! I stayed up in to the early hours reading posts from over a year ago, I just found the information and stories amazing. Now if I could only find the funds for 5512! I currently have a U series 1998 GMT-Master, hardly a vintage piece but maybe in another twenty odd years who knows.

One of the stories I did enjoy was the chap who's father had been a diver, and had been given a Comex for his work which if I remember correctly had been laying in a draw for the best part of 20 odd years and the son had turned in down as a gift and chose a Tag Heuer.
