Everest Horology band

Do yourselves a favor and don't pay for next day shipping. Placed my order Sunday afternoon, so it was supposed to ship Monday. Still don't have it. Have not received one email with an invoice, receipt of payment, confirmation, or tracking info. They apologized for the error and promised me a tracking number yesterday, but still waiting. No communication has taken place today. I basically asked for a refund on my next day shipping, but they have failed to respond. Sorry, the product may be decent, but $135 is not cheap for a two pieces of silicone and I would expect better service.

If you're that upset you can cancel the whole transaction...
Where are their headquarters and where do they ship from?

You missed the point. If I wanted to cancel the order, I would have.

All I really expect is to get what i paid for and to see is some kind of paper trail. Invoice, shipping confirmation, tracking number, etc. It's pretty standard these days with Internet orders. Maybe I'm asking for too much.

Shipping policy from their website (http://everestbands.com/everest-retu...ange-policy/):
Shipping Policy

All items will be shipped standard USPS Ground. At this point there isn’t any other option for either a speedier option or less expensive option. Your shipping is included in your purchase price as long for all cutomers within the Continental United States. If you are a pre-order customer your shipping is also included to your destination country if you are shipping your purchase outside the Continental United States. Any Customs, Taxes, and Tarrifs are the responsibility of the customer to pay for.

All customers are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country that you request it to be shipped to. When purchasing from Everest Horology Products, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of theUnited Statesmay be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. Everest Horology Products does not take responsibility for customs inspections not passing nor do we take responsibility for items taking extended periods of times processing through customs.

All orders will be shipped within 72 hours of purchase or sooner.

I've had good dealings with them recently, but from the get go (when they got started on Kickstarter)they weren't great with communication. "Bands to be shipped XX date" and nothing from them for a few weeks. Then an "oopps...had issues". Wasn't real thrilled with that. And honestly, there is no excuse for how you've been treated recently.

HOWEVER, I got the bands and they were worth the wait. I hope you agree when/if they ever get there.

It is situations like this, that I hope they step up to the plate and "make right" because bad word of mouth is the WORST thing for an upstart company.

Good luck.

Is there a possible confusion between the carrier's interval and the fulfillment policy? In other words, they have up to 72 hours to fulfill and ship - then is when your next day shipping starts.

From what I've read, it seems they have not fulfilled the order because they haven't sent you an order number yet...

Snapshot right from their mobile website. Notice the shipping cost and details. Please don't attempt to make me appear to be a liar.

This is an excerpt from our email exchange on Monday. Does the 72 hour trump their word?

"This is our fault entirely. I have already dropped it off at the post office myself to ensure it gets to you tomorrow. In about an hour or two the tracking number will update.

Sincerely,

I'm guessing it is when it's "fullfilled" but I understand your point. I've ordered stuff before on a weekend, and it doesn't get filled till late Monday. However, it's now Wednesday and you should have been notified.

Again, they are an upstart company and maybe work a little slower. And if that's the case they shouldn't even have that as an option.

I hope it works out for you.

It was just a thought...

The answer to your question is in their terms of service:

If anyone would like to buy some rubber from a shady unprofessional company that fails to follow through with their advertised service, charges your credit card while failing to provide you with any paperwork, doesn't deliver the product and hides behind the above gibberish, have at it.

If you think $155 is expensive, buy an Omega rubber strap and $155 will be the good-old-days, I promise!

Never tried to make anyone appear to be a liar, just trying to answer someone else's question on the thread. I just copied directly from their website. I highlighted the 72 hours to show that the order may not have been processed.

I've heard great things about their products, but there is no excuse for you not having your bands yet, or at least a tracking number.

Maybe the oven is not cranking out the bands fast enough!

They may have made an error on your order, but your characterization of Everest as a "shady unprofessional company" is a defamatory remark that has the tendency to injure another's reputation or character without evidence. Except for a late delivery of a watch strap.

$155 bucks for a rubber band?
UGH
I can wear my 14060M on a Nato for a week or two but always go back to the Oyster bracelet.
Sorry but IMHO a Sub on a Rubber looks horrible.

Listen up......you can take your legal talk and shove it. You are obviously associated with EH. I am on a forum posting my dissatisfaction based on my personal experience. You are a fruit loop if you think that I don't have a right to do that. Maybe you would be happier if I filed a complaint with the better business bureau? Is that legal, you prick?

Like I said above, $155 for any watch-related item is cheap. Things take time. Order an omega rubber strap and clasp. You can't escape that for under $400. Even better, a new replacement oyster bracelet. That is sticker shock!
